How to run Repair Install on Windows 8
1. Insert the Windows 8 disc or you can double click the ISO image file. Double clicking the ISO image creates a new virtual drive on your computer.
2. If you want to view the same Interface as of Windows 7, open the sources folder and double click "setup.exe" file. For the Windows 8 way, run the setup.exe from the root folder.
**I would recommend running from the sources folder as it gives you complete description about the error message.
3. Once asked, please type the product key.
4. Do not check for new updates as it is not required.
5. Select the option : "Upgrade" and the installation (repair) will start. For the users who are running setup from the root folder, select keep applications, system files and personal files.
