Network Password prompt on Outlook
1.
First of all, you can run the fix it tool from Microsoft website. Restart the computer and
check if it works fine or not.

Backup and delete the following registry key:-
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Protected Storage System Provider
**Make sure that Outlook is not running before deleting the key.
3.
Start the run prompt and type “Outlook /safe”.
Check if it works now. If it works, then it is due to add-ins installed.
4.
Check with new Outlook Profile. You can create
new profile by launching Run prompt and typing “outlook /profiles”.
5.
Check it in a new windows user account.
6.
Try it with an Outlook test account and check if
it works. Test account means try configuring a different email account in
Outlook.
7.
It might be an issue with the ISP as well due to
Port block. You can run proxy software to check if it is due to a blocked port.
Download proxy tool from ultrasurf website.
8.
Also, It can be due to firewall/security
software installed on your computer or on a network i.e. on a router.
9.
At last you can follow kb928218 to completely
remove office manually from the system.
